Just because you’ve chosen to marry on the sand, doesn’t mean the traditional or formal feel of a wedding ceremony has to go away, that is, if you don’t want it to. Draping dramatic fabrics, dropping chandeliers, swagging a tent and tying it back with ribbon, and of course filling a ceremony structure with beach-appropriate flowers can turn your simple seaside ceremony into a jaw-dropping I do!

For a bit more modern approach, use branches like Manzanita to make a statement under which to wed. Orchids, lots of orchids are the perfect pairing for this style ceremony. Or if budget is an issue, consider filling in with the abundant look of Hydrangea instead.

No matter what your heart’s desire – whether it be color, canopies, wrought iron or wood, your beach wedding can be as big and formal as you choose it to be. Don’t let the sand stop you from creating a dramatic ceremony! Just be sure to use that fabulous backdrop to your advantage and keep the view as unobstructed as possible for guests in the audience. After all, you likely paid for location, location, location.
