Danice and James landed on Jamaica for their destination wedding at the Grand Palladium, where close friends and family gathered for a great party and an intimate wedding ceremony. The pair found the location simply from searching online! They wanted a space for the ceremony that was colorful but culturally neutral since she’s Filipino and he’s Puerto Rican and they weren’t hosting a wedding in either place.
The brightly colored tropical vibe of the wedding lend itself perfectly to the feeling of fun they wanted to have!
Wedding photographer Olivia Vale described the day and experience for us. “Close family and a laid-back sense of fun are the most important thing to both Danice and James. They wanted the beautiful breeziness of a tropical wedding, and just wanted the closest people in their lives to be there. They had about 40 guests who flew in to celebrate with them. The morning began with getting ready in the gorgeous Grecian villas, followed by a pavilion ceremony surrounded by water and a sculpture garden, and ended with a reception on the sweeping veranda overlooking both ocean and infinity pool. The main theme was fun, and there was plenty of it; but also some very tender moments too.”
Guests were given fans at the ceremony to keep cool and as a keepsake from the wedding.
Dinner was in the round! What a place for your first meal as husband and wife!
Colorful and creative shots got this party going :).
The purple wedding flowers were the perfect mix of tropical for the location and romantic for the occasion.
And clearly a good time was had by all!
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
