Happy Monday travelers and friends! Today’s our last post from the incredible Engage!14 Conference in Beaver Creek, CO – and we’ve got some seriously spectacular mountain wedding decor for you! Each year the event throws a final night gala and this year it was in the ballroom at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch (well, and in the hallways, on the deck, and pretty much all over the entire hotel too). The event was produced and designed by DesignWorks and Mountain Occasions with the help of a huge team of talented pro’s (who can be found at the end of this post). And what they created was magic! Beginning with the lounge vignette in the hallway, complete with floral chandelier!
And for an entry way? Huge floral arches and swag to greet us at the door!
The food was amazing, all done by the Ritz Carlton in a farm to table style display.
But one of my favorite details had to be the giant “Drinks” letters lit up above the bars. There’s no question your guests will know where to go at a wedding like this when they want a cocktail!
Each area of the ballroom was dressed with something a little different. From a candle wall to a hedge-like wall and each with different seating options, both rustic and very glam.
Cocktail tables had giant white orchids dripping from overhead with butterflies peppered throughout.
And of course no party is complete without a little dancing, and in this case, dirty dancing! The Dance Follies designed a Dirty Dancing themed flash mob to surprise the majority of the guests with. Brian Worley from YourBASH! and Paige Chenault from the Birthday Party Project were the stars of the show while 40+ other guests were part of the secret dance mob. Such a fun idea for a big wedding reception!! And this went off perfectly! Just perfectly! These two were amazing…
Then of course the night finished off with some sweet treats with a nod to the mountains. What a great way to end the Engage!14 Conference. I can’t wait until next time, when we jet off to the Cayman Islands! We’ll be sure to share that one too :).
