Happy New Year friends and newly engaged new friends! Thanks for visiting Jet Fete – your source for destination wedding and honeymoon ideas, information, and picture-perfect places to say I do! We’re kicking off the new year in style, in Italy!! Johanna and Evan tied the knot of the same day (different year) that Evan proposed to his bride – June 18th! The pair traveled from San Francisco to an intimate and oh-so stunning destination wedding in Tuscany, Italy, where they wed outdoors among the vineyards and beautiful gardens at Croce di Bibbiano, outside of San Gimignano. This is such a special way to start the new year, this might be one of our faves all year, and it’s only January!
The ceremony took place near the olive grove in a gorgeous garden with a rustic wedding arch made of wood adorned with cotton fabric tied with bunches of flowers.
The group even dined al fresco by a pool, where they ate Tuscan delicacies and drank fine wines from the region.
The pair kept things personal with artisanal chocolate disks handmade with the couple’s monogram that matched their stationery.
For favors, fitting of the area, small bottles of Tuscan olive oil were given as a token of their gratitude to the guests.
What a stunning backdrop for such a beautiful couple and their big day!
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
