KJ and Mark tied the knot in a beautiful coral and peach-clad beach wedding on the island of St. John. This destination wedding was designed with the help of Island Style Weddings and the end result was near picture-perfect! The happy bride and groom shared with us a little bit about their story and how this big day came together on island.
We selected St. John because we wanted to be surrounded by family and friends on a beautiful beach during sunset.
We selected coral, aqua and gold as our color palette because of the way the coral popped against the crystal clear water in the background.
Favorite memories from the night? Dancing and celebrating with our family and friends under the stars on Oppenheimer Beach.
And the next day the couple headed back to the beach for a trash the dress session in the Caribbean Sea!
Their advice for other destination wedding couples? Do what makes you happy and don’t worry about pleasing everyone else. Be sure to set aside enough time to explore the destination.
