Gabi and Gabe tied the knot at their destination wedding in Rio Grande Puerto Rico. The bride was from the area originally and they knew once they returned, that was it! Gabi shared a bit about their wedding and how the weekend came to be.
My husband and I both wanted a destination wedding and I am from Puerto Rico. We decided to go and look at venues one weekend and once I stepped foot here, I knew it was the place. The scenery is spectacular and the ambiance magical.
The decor was just to compliment what the venue already going for itself, a rustic feel with luscious gardens. The venue had tons of my favorite bugambilia bushes, market lighting/Christmas lights and romantic amber lighting. So I settled on various shades of pink and gold with exposed farm tables with delicate lace runners.
My favorite moments from the day (aside from marrying the man of my dreams!) was enjoying the sorbet from a local vendor I grew up enjoying and dancing the night away with our loved ones.
Advice for destination wedding couples: BE PATIENT, everything runs on island time. Have a planner on the island/country who knows all vendors that you cannot find on google/wedding wire/the knot, and they alleviate so much stress.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
