Rachel and Mike Mexico said I do in Mexico at their destination wedding along the Riviera Maya. They opted for the Azul Sensatori Mexico as a place for all their loved ones to gather, stay and celebrate!
The couple incorporated natural colors to blend nicely with the beach – we just adore these baby’s breath bridesmaid bouquets (DIY too)!
The maids were also in color coordinating dresses of pale peach and grey. The bride had several favorite moments from the big day! “I have three favorite moments from the wedding. When I was putting on my dress and had my sisters mom and best friends all in the same room helping me get ready.
Leading up to the beach ceremony was another one of the bride’s favorite memories. “Right before the wedding ceremony my dad was with me and looked so nervous and emotional it was great to share that moment with him.”
From the beach ceremony, the guests were lead indoors to enjoy hand-rolled cigars and delish Mexican fare!
The couple remember that special moment during their first dance. “When Mike and I had our first dance, it summarized the fairy tale I had dreamt up and he had fulfilled.”
We asked Rachel for a bit of advice for future couples planning a destination wedding. “My Advice to other brides planning a destination wedding is do lots and lots of research about every part of the wedding. If you are not a type A organizer then enlist a friend, family member, or planner to help you get all the logistics worked out so are not stressing about details on the big day.”
And although everyone danced the night away, this wedding wasn’t complete without a very exotic day-after trash the dress (and suit) session!
Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Love this resort! They also have a beautiful Sky Deck for ceremonies with amazing views of the Caribbean.
Beautiful wedding! I’m getting married at the sister property in August, and I noticed you bought your flowers at a local market. I’d like to do the same – where did you get them? Thanks!
