Beth and Keenan wed in beautiful Costa Rica, the spot they touched down on for their destination wedding.
Their wedding photographers, A Brit & A Blonde shared this darling couple’s wedding day story with us.
To start, the beautiful bridesmaid dresses! “The amazingly blue bridesmaid dresses with the chunky orange necklaces were rad. Super rad.”
“Following the tropical theme, the bride carried red ginger, bird of paradise, orange day lilies and white orchids, while her attendants carried orange day lilies and white orchids. Orchids were featured for the groomsmen as well as the mother of the bride.”
“Beth and Keenan wanted to do a first look. Steps away from where Keenan asked her to marry her. She walked down a shaded path and tapped Keenan on the shoulder and he saw her in all her bridal glory for the first time.”
“We adored the embroidered red heart on the groom’s shirt. So simple but pure perfection. Adorbs!”
The location they chose was sentimental, but not easy to get to! “Nosara is not easily accessible, it is a quiet surf village that pulls at the heart strings of anyone who visits. La Luna is one of the well known restaurants on the beach and has special meaning for the couple where just one year prior Keenan got down on his knee in front of the restaurant guests and asked Beth to be his bride. Obviously the answer was a resounding YES!”
“With the Pacific Ocean behind them Beth and Keenan said their I do’s under a bamboo gazebo draped in sheer white fabric accented with tropical arrangements of red ginger, bird of paradise, banana leaves and palms. Guests were seated on bamboo chairs under a white tent overlooking the ocean; the bride walked up a fabric aisle scattered with rose petals. Tropical arrangements at the entrance to the tent welcomed guests and reflected the arrangements on the gazebo. Custom designed fans created by Beth offered a breath of fresh air during the sunset ceremony.”
“After the sunset ceremony, sky lanterns were released on the beach offering up best wishes of the guests for Beth and Keenan.”
“Dinner was held on La Luna’s open air terrace where fairy lights twinkled and oriental lanterns in shades of orange and white glittered overhead. Tropical flavored cupcakes for dessert and then the tent rocked with laughter and dancing till midnight.”
