We’re heading for the shores of Newport, Rhode Island with this seaside wedding shoot. While a lot of coastal inspiration focuses on the summer months, this transitional design could easily work across and between seasons. Planned by Diana Venditto of Eventi Floral & Events and photographed by Dani Fine at Castle Hill Inn, it features punches of bright color and warm textures, as well as that classic elegance and stunning scenery for which Newport weddings are known. There are also some great destination wedding touches, like welcome gifts filled with local treats and beautiful watercolor stationery. Diana shared with us the inspiration behind the images.
When brainstorming ideas for this shoot we really wanted it to include colors but not to be seasonal. So often couples find themselves stuck with designing within the season and while it can play a role, we wanted to show that it does not have to be the main theme.
Newport is such a classic and timeless place to get married, and we were excited that Castle Hill was available! We also stumbled upon Veronica Matunin and her cake design abilities are amazing.
When picking out the dress we were excited to partner with Modern Trousseau to showcase a boutique that we really love to recommend. We love that all their gowns are custom made to each client and in the United States.
What better way to end a seaside wedding than with s’mores by the firepit!
