For their February vows, Hila and Jeremy chose to whisk their closest family and friends away for a destination wedding weekend in Alcapulco. And, oh what a weekend it was! From the moment the couple and their guests arrived, to the moment they jetted back to the States, their weekend was filled with beach relaxation and entertainment, and luckily Robert Evans was there to capture it all. After a welcome dessert party on Friday evening at their bungalow-style resort, Las Brisas, guests enjoyed a slew of pre-wedding activities Saturday during an intimate beach day at Villa Alejandra, complete with massages and jet-skiing. Then they ended the evening with a lively rehearsal dinner, the star of which was an open tequila bar for trying and testing an array of authentic drinks. And speaking of authentic, their welcome bags were full of local Mexican treats to snack on in between lounging and other activities! The couple brought the tropical feel into every last detail with exotic orchids and starfish turned escort cards. At sunset on Sunday it was time for the couple to say “I do” and the exclusive beach Casa Del Mar was the perfect backdrop for this true destination wedding ceremony. Glistening lanterns, an airy white chuppah and pops of the perfect pink flowers? D, all of the above!Looking for a creative way to display your drinks of choice? Try filling a boat with them! Now, that will certainly make a statement and have your guests talking. The palette of this Mexican paradise was carried into the reception tables. Guests dined as the sun set, while lanterns and candlelight illuminated to create the most intimate of environments. And with a wedding weekend like this one, it couldn’t go out without a bang! Literally.
