I am so beyond excited to share the next two posts with you! This is a project we worked on last year, and after much anticipation, it’s finally hitting newsstands! The beautiful Destination I Do Magazine Spring/Summer 2016 issue comes out today and we’ve got the cover feature to share with you! We got to travel with a truly amazing group of wedding professionals to Todos Santos, Mexico and stay at the boutique property, Rancho Pescadero, where we helped to produce an editorial shoot for one of our favorite magazines! And the result?! Be still my heart! The entire incredible team of destination wedding professionals is listed at the base of this story, but we’ll call out a few of the details you’re seeing first!
The paper (and leather!) goods were created by the talented folks at Méldeen, who designed wedding day details printed on leather! So unique and so perfect for the setting!
To match, were welcome gift bags (or in this case, boxes) by one of my faves, Teak & Twine, who took the rustic feel of the setting and photo shoot and mixed in sweet treats and delicate gifts for guests to take home.
The Troublefield Lifestyle did an amazing job on Carmen’s hair and makeup (even changing looks on the fly, from ceremony to reception)! Carmen was truly the most beautiful model, inside and out!
Carmen’s stunning dress by Lela Rose was perfect for the Mexican setting, and the entire look put together by LA-based bridal stylist, Maradee Wahl.
And her rustic bridal bouquet, in addition to all the flowers and decor were created by the local Los Cabos team ELENA DAMY, who rivals the best florists in the world, if you ask us!
If you get married at Rancho Pescadero, you even have a donkey at your door for fun photo ops!
The ceremony took place on the sand, facing the Pacific Ocean. It’s a beautifully wide beach that’s ideal for events (and fireworks at the end). The overall design and creative direction for the shoot was created by the Dallas-based destination wedding planner, Stefanie Miles Events, who took this project on like it was her own daughter’s big day!
There are too many amazing images by Sarah Kate, Photographer, so we’re sharing the reception inspiration tomorrow. Be sure to check back then for more beach wedding and Mexico destination wedding ideas!
