Rosanna and Sabino wed in Polignano, Italy in a beautiful setting that friends and family were able to travel to and celebrate with them. We chatted with the couple about their big day and what they experienced when saying I do! “We chose to celebrate our wedding at Borgobianco because my husband and I decided get married in Polignano; the place was perfect for a two days party and to accommodate friends and family the day before the wedding. In addition, we loved the venue for the absolute simplicity, few details, and for the predominant color: white”
The bride and groom handmade their stationery and paper goods for the big day!
“With regard to the organization, there were no big problems. We can say that wedding requires meticulous care to detail and this requires attention, especially if some of the details are made by the bride and the groom, as favors, place cards, sweet’s table and the decorations. The greatest difficulty is the coordination of all parties.”
We often ask couples about the most memorable moments from their day. “All was emotional and intense for us, but, what I remember in particular was the moment we arrived at the patio where everyone was already seated for dinner, and, before we started dinner, me and my husband have improvised a dance between the tables with a funny song by Domenico Modugno.”
And Domenico Modugno was infused elsewhere in the reception as well! The famous Italian singer from the 60’s was also the inspiration for the table names – each a song of his.
The white color palette was the woven into all the reception details with muted tones and touches of brown on the napkin treatments.
Then during dancing a vintage DJ booth spun tunes for all to enjoy!
“Wedding is a very amazing moment, but you have to live it thinking that it’s your important day, without thinking to satisfy other people. The planning must be funny and creative, without frills. And at the end, having on your side a good photographer who knows how to capture the most beautiful moments without being intrusive, but at the same time being familiar and friendly as has made our Erica.”
