Mike and Vikkie opted for a mountain destination wedding overlooking the spectacular Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada. There had been a blizzard a few days before, making the rolling hills even more amazing of a setting for their big day.
The group began the festivities during a welcome party at Banff Avenue Brew Company, before heading to the lake with welcome goodies in hand (including local treats and Vietnamese favors).
Then the couple opted for a tea ceremony set in a sunflower-clad ceremony overlooking Lake Louise. The décor for the day was inspired by the bride’s love of her favorite Van Gogh painting!
When it came time to celebrate at the reception, Mike and Vikkie went with a more modern vibe, partially to reflect the western-style ceremony they had transitioned to.
The color purple was bountiful in the reception, including even in the candy bar!
Come the end of the evening, the bride transitioned into her third dress of the day! Just in time for her to hit the dance floor with the groom for a choreographed dance!
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
