Zhang and Lian said “I do” at a destination wedding in Bali, where the modern hotel backdrop set the stage for this otherwise traditional big day. From blue Manolos to picture-perfect favors, this darling couple put thought into the details, yet selected a venue that needed absolutely nothing!
There was nothing unusual on how Zhang and Lian met. Zhang’s mom is a business contact to Lian’s boss and that’s how they got introduced to each other. First they chat through WeChat, then they met the first time right before the Chinese New Year of 2015; and the rest was history.
When it was time to plan their wedding, the couple wanted a location with a great ocean view, a peaceful atmosphere and nothing too crowded. So they opted for the elegant Alila Villas and everything was as they dreamed!
The beautiful all white ceremony details were woven into the reception too, which had pops of color to compliment it.
This was a somewhat intimate gathering so long tables looked lovely for the group.
