Gemma and Jordan live between Sydney, Australia and Texas but opted for Italy for their destination wedding, in the Tuscan countryside at the beautiful Villa il Poggiale. Not too far from Florence, friends and loved ones gathered for an intimate event with a relaxed and rustic vibe, perfectly fitting of the setting.
To take full advantage of the setting, the couple opted for both an outdoor ceremony and outdoor dinner reception under the stars.
We asked the couple about their fondest memories from the day. “Best moment was exchange of wows, Jordan couldn’t stop tears and Gemma smiles say all about this LOVE.” And just after those vows too! “Happiest moment when after the ceremony walking down the aisle as a couple to the song Solsbury Hill by Peter Gabriel.”
The color inspiration came from the season – summer! Florist Franci’s Flowers Wedding Design shared the design with us. “Beautiful English david Austin roses are protagonist of both Gemma’s bouquet and long tablescape, simplicity of bark pot match perfectly with DIY favor and placecards, light of a lot candles complete beauty of reception decor.”
What a spectacular site at night for a party with one long table!
Before the end of the evening, traditional Italian wedding dessert was served up and enjoyed!
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
