Kristy and Vivek chose Rome as the place to call home for their first anniversary adventure because it had actually been their first dream honeymoon destination. Kristy shared with us the reasons for this oh-so special trip. “We choose Rome for our first year anniversary trip as it was at first our dream honeymoon destination – Rome is Vivek’s beloved city as he studied abroad here and for me it would be my first trip to Italia, a trip at the very top of my bucket list. Alas our week full of joyous wedding celebrations (which combined both our Catholic and Hindu traditions) didn’t allow for such post wedding travels – hence it became a celebratory trip for our first anniversary (and something we looked forward to our entire year as newlyweds).”
The pair jetted off from Chicago to Rome where they touched down for a swanky anniversary shoot with Rochelle Cheever Photography.

And this truly was the trip of a lifetime! After their stop in Rome, the pair headed to Florence and explored all of Tuscany before their time in Italy came to an end.
