Cinco de Mayo may have come and gone but our love for all things Mexico will never pass!  Are you hosting a destination wedding in Cabo?  Riviera Maya?  Or perhaps San Miguel?  Well, anywhere you wed in Latin America or infuse Mexican culture into your big day, consider this fun addition to your reception entertainment – wedding pinatas!   Oh what fun for the kids at your wedding (and even the adults too)!  Commission a pinata in your color palette, theme, or even in small sizes to serve as your wedding favors with sweets inside.  They make for great decor and the ceremony will certainly be something guests will talk about!

Did you know that the pinata actually originated in China?  Then the tradition spread through Europe but is mostly used in Latin American countries now.  So if you love a pinata but aren’t saying “I do” in Mexico – that’s okay too!  Pull in it’s Asian or European roots and opt for a look a little more fitting of whatever your event may be!
