Day of the Dead Weddings

Happy October friends!  Today is the first day of one of my favorite months of the year.  Besides rounding out a wonderful season here in Southern California, this time of year means the holidays and destination weddings are gearing up for high season.  And one of those celebrated times of year is the Halloween.  Today we’re looking globally, not to Halloween but ideas inspired by the Day of the Dead or Día de los Muertos.  Every Nov. 1st Mexico and many other countries celebrate and honor their loved ones who have passed.  It might seem a tad morbid for a wedding day, but the beautiful and brightly colored florals, palettes and decor sure do awaken the senses for any special day.  So if you’re hosting a destination wedding in Mexico (specifically in Oct or Nov) then consider these colors and a few key details to pay tribute to the local culture.
