Gabe and Shannon recently moved from San Francisco to Hawaii, so for their engagement session they had to incorporate a bit of the beautiful beach and island life! Photographer, Samantha McFarlen, shared with us the idea behind the shoot in Oahu before they plan to return to Northern California to wed.
Gabe and Shannon just recently made the move to Hawaii for Gabe’s job so we thought it would be fun to do a “day in the life” styled session all around the island for them to show their friends and family back home some of the things they like to do together. We went from walking their dog in a park, to shooting an Urban look at a painted wall by the gym they attend, to driving to the North Shore and getting the best garlic shrimp in Hawaii, to walking on the beach and then finishing up with Mai Tais at Turtle Bay Resort.
