This week Sandals launched a brand new program designed to help destination wedding couples design their big day – their way. The new online wedding designer gives brides and grooms options to mix and match wedding décor from a thousand different ideas, all of which are on property at their all-inclusive resorts.
How does it work? Start by selecting your location (your dream island of choice of course). Then pick your color palette – choose from pinks, blues, greens and sea foam, lilac and sand, white and more! Once you’ve chosen you colors you begin to browse and narrow down from 1000 different wedding ideas from flowers to cakes, entertainment and dinning! They’ve pretty much got it all, tropical, modern, soft and romantic, orchids to roses, canopies, hair and makeup, and the list goes on. This is ideal for the destination couple who wants one-stop shopping but the luxury of selection and designing a uniquely personal event. With a little help from Sandals’online tools, you can mix and match and create a wedding that not only looks great, but is one of a kind too.
But the décor is just the beginning! Sandals does all the rest of the work for you too. Once you’ve selected your bouquets and boutonnieres, don’t forget about the dinner menu, custom bars, hair and makeup, even photography and videography, should you choose. Want tiki torches and fire dancers with a tropical and brightly colored reception palette? Check! Steel drums and an all-white beach wedding? Check, check! If you can dream it, it’s likely they’ve already got it on property for you!
Once the wedding is planned perfectly, don’t forget about the honeymoon. Island hop or stay put where you wed for a romantic weddingmoon. You can even register for wedding gifts that are activities while you’re there – tours and island excursions, spa services and even a private dinner for two on the sand.
Sandals has 14 Caribbean resorts, all all-inclusive and some dedicated to adults only. I’ve been to one of the sister resorts, Beaches in Turks and Caicos and should you be considering a property, I highly recommend the Italian Village for your stay! Right on the shoreline overlooking the crystal clear blue ocean and white sand, this view will not disappoint. They’ve also got some great on island excursions (think catamaran to a reef in the ocean where you can snorkel with one of the few dolphins in the world that travels without a pod)! It’s a must do – especially if JoJo the dolphin is nearby.
Happy Weddingmooning!
