Today we’ve got a beautiful bridal inspiration shoot from Barcelona Brides, with the theme of Havana nights to inspire your exotic Cuban destination “I do!”
While Havana may have been on the brain, the shoot actually took place in an industrial warehouse in Barcelona and here’s what Barcelona Brides had to say about the day.
We wanted to really create a feel of Havana so this warehouse was perfect with its grey unfinished walls and aged feel.
The smile of our model Delma’s was so sweet and joyful, every time she smiled it was memorable.
The grey walls contrasted with a vibrant palette of coral pink, orange and green with aged creams and browns to give a feel of tropical Old Havana. Floral Designer Pepe Von Strudel combined dried wild flowers and daisies with exuberant tropical orchids and minimal floral design which provokes sensations and connects us with our senses, passion and love.
Little pleasures in the form of Cuban motifs; aged rum, Cohibas and fresh mojitos set the tone and a beautifully simple 3 tier wedding cake by Platitos de Azucar added a sweet touch. We used original Cuba textbooks from the 1950s courtesy of the Florist’s grandmother (she was from Havana).
