A Romantic Wedding at the Four Seasons Maui

Lisa and Bradford wed at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, a place that was near and dear to this bride’s heart.  The groom had popped the question in Hawaii (Kauai) and their mutual love of islands meant it was meant to be.  Lisa shared with us their special story.  “Getting married in paradise was our ultimate goal! I knew that Brad and I had to tie the knot in Maui. My family spent many Christmases at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea. I grew up dreaming of getting married here since I was very little. I wanted to share the magic with Brad. The hotel is a true gem.”

“The tomboy in me picked Tiffany blue as our wedding color. Brad was very surprised and happy that I did not say pink! The gorgeous shade also reminds us of the moment when Brad proposed to me by the blue ocean holding a little blue box in his hand! The decor was kept simple with white roses and white candles to bring out the subtle Tiffany blue accents. The evening reception was intimate, serene and sophisticated.” 

While the darling flower girls also wore white, and plumeria head leis to match!

Even white doves made an appearance at this ceremony!

After Lisa and Bradford said “I do,” the celebrating began!

This brave couple even got wet in the ocean in an impromptu trash the (base of the) dress session after the ceremony.

“Biggest advice for future destination couples is to be insanely organized except on the actual day. Wedding day is when you relax and let it roll.”

We ask couples what their favorite moments from the day was.  For this bride?  The cake reveal!  “Favorite moment of the day was when we saw our wedding cake. It was huge! We couldn’t wait to cut the cake and dig in with our family and friends.”
