A Rustic Wedding in Romania

Lulia and Anton got married near Bucharest, Romania, in a beautifully rustic outdoor event under the stars.  The groom, the drummer in The Nugglers had been on an international tour when he took time out to tie the knot in this picturesque setting.  Everyone arrived the night before to Mogosoaia, the place they picked to say I do.  Guests came from all over the world, including the UK, Finland, India, Austria, Japan, South Africa and Timisoara to be there for the couple.

The rustic natural setting created the perfect backdrop for this boho chic big day.  The bridesmaids wore individual looks in shades of lavender to match their bouquets while the bride donned a beautiful headpiece of baby’s breath to complete the look.

The ceremony, underneath huge trees, was both sweet and celebratory.

After the I do, the newlyweds and a few brave friends took a joy ride around the area in a hot air balloon!

For their first meal as husband and wife, a long curved table set the stage for a stunning reception dinner.

Lots of lavender details were woven into the reception decor to keep with the theme.

Not only did the stars light the night, but twinkle lights under a tent served as the ambiance for dancing and lots of live music!

And for those that wanted a little down time after dinner, a teepee was set up for the kids to enjoy and swings for the ‘bigger’ kids too.
