Anailyn and Jesus invited friends and family to the small town of Islamorada, FL for their destination wedding at the Castaway’s Delight. Photographer Anna Eli described this picturesque location for those who haven’t touched down there just yet. “Islamorada is a small, but a very charming town. Once a person or a family’s there for a few hours, you know it like the back of your hand. From cafes to fishing grounds to hotels and restaurants, there’s plenty to see. It’s often overlooked because people either go to Miami or Key West, but Islamorada is right in between and has a lot to offer.”
Anailyn’s parents passed away when she was very young, so to pay tribute to them and keep them close, she carried a bridal bouquet adorning a locket with their photo in it.
A very hands on bride, Anailyn created this creative sign for guests to see where everyone had traveled from for the big day. Such a great idea!
The ceremony took place on the sand in an isolated location with total privacy just for their very special group.
Dinner and dancing also took place on the sand with the beautiful ocean backdrop for guests to enjoy throughout the night. A pale color palette was selected so not to take away from such a spectacular view!
Jesus is a big fan of sweets so there was no shortage of dessert at this wedding reception!
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
