Today we’re bringing you a very special big day, an intimate elopement or destination wedding for two in beautiful Santorini, Greece. Inna and Ilya may not have had a big guest count but they are proof positive that you can still have a stunning, over the top wedding no matter the size. We just can’t get enough of these gorgeous details in Greece!
The couple’s wedding planner, Anna of Rosmarin Weddings and Events, shared with us the story of their little big day. Lately it happens often that the couple wants to avoid a big wedding with lots of guests. In this case, the best solution appears in intimate weddings just for two, when two loving people in an atmosphere of infinite romance pronounce the most important words for each other. That was the story of Inna and Ilya. They chose for the wedding ceremony a small church on a lonely cliff on the most beautiful island on earth – Santorini.
Inna ordered pillowcases which decorated the bride’s morning.
Inna, as a perfectionist, wanted to create an unforgettable day. That’s why she has paid great attention to details, decor and color palette. The choice fell on a peach – a gentle, very wedding color, green – we used a lot of ivy, fragrant eucalyptus, which is rich in Santorini, and as a accents – purple, plum.
So much tenderness was that day! The beautiful bride looked incredibly elegant, and at the same time romantic. By the way the dress was sewn to order, and it is often the best solution when the dream dress impossible to find in stores. Ilya looked like a character from old Hollywood films – perfectly fitting suit, accessories and, of course, bow tie in the tone of the wedding palette.
Thin flowing fabrics, exquisite details, vintage dishes and fruit table decoration – all these made style truly gentle and romantic.
We organized a dinner on the terrace of the hotel room, and by tradition it started in the most romantic time on Santorini – when the sun had almost disappeared behind the horizon and painted the island in ocher colors.
Song of couple – John Legend “All of me”, and the main phrase of it: «All of me loves all of you» became as the leitmotif for wedding polygraphy, which perfectly fit into the overall style.
It was a wedding, which the couple dreamed of, and the memories of this day will remain in their hearts for a lifetime. No doubts!
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
