Jessica and Barry tied the knot in a beautiful destination wedding in the Dominican Republic. With friends and loved ones by their side, they said “I do” in an idyllic spot that was picture-perfect for them. Blushing bride Jessica shared with us the story of their big day.
We chose Punta Cana because it is stunningly beautiful. The water is sparkling blue, the sand is pure white, and the sunsets are breathtaking.
We were aiming for a relaxed bohemian vibe. The bridesmaids were mismatched because we wanted the styling to look organic but cohesive. We paired the turquoise blue with cream to tie the decor together in a natural way.
Our favorite part of the day was dancing the night away with our friends and family. The bistro lights strung up over the beach made the perfect setting for an amazing dance party.
Advice for other destination wedding couples? My best advice is to arrive at your destination a few days ahead of your guests. It allows you to attend all the meetings to finalize plans, visit the events locations, and chat with your wedding planner without missing any quality time with your loved ones.
