Kim and Bobby tied the knot in the popular beach destination of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica where the pair celebrated with not only a wedding, but a day at sea too! The big day took place at a modern private estate overlooking the ocean but before the pair exchanged vows, they entertained guests during a catamaran adventure. The couple’s destination wedding planner, Meggie Francisco Events, shared their love story with us and how this Costa Rica destination wedding weekend came to be.
Meggie Francisco: Kim and Bobby travel frequently to Costa Rica, and imagine moving there in the future! They love nothing more than hanging out beachside with a beer in Uvita or Dominical and were so thrilled to share experiences like this with their loved ones.
The couple celebrated the day before their wedding with a catamaran trip. Guests viewed Manuel Antonio National Park from the shoreline, and snorkeled along the coast!
When it came time to celebrate their nuptials, Kim and Bobby thought of everything!
The bride’s family crest was tied to her bouquet handle.
The bride selected her dress for the way the sparkling swirls reflect the beach waves in Costa Rica.
Mismatched bridesmaid dresses in varying shades of coral and blush were pulled directly from the floral palette.
The bride and groom’s number one priority was views – and they sure got lots of them with a rooftop ceremony at Villa Punto de Vista!
The couple relished their private time together at the secluded beach area immediately following the ceremony.
Kim and Bobby cared very much about keeping emphasis on the local surroundings and the beautiful private villa, so local tropical flowers were used throughout the design scheme.
Chef Desiree Brassert presented a fantastic meal comprised of filet mignon and lobster tails.
The bride’s brother is stationed overseas in the military. He surprised her with a pre-recorded video toast at the beginning of the reception!
