I can’t quite decide what I like better about this Malibu destination wedding, the colors or the stunning vineyard setting of Saddlerock Ranch. Jill and John chose this venue because, “it felt like it was on top of the world.” And on their perfect summer wedding day last May, it certainly looks like it was. Laura of Beautiful Day Photography captured the true vibrance of this picturesque outdoor celebration.
With a wedding “on top of the world,” guests may need a little shade, and Jill provided fuchsia parasols for just that purpose. She walked down an equally pink rose petal lined aisle that hinted at the colorful reception that was soon to come. 
Nearly 90% of the guests traveled to this hillside destination to celebrate with Jill and John, who took full advantage of the the rolling hills and acres of grapes for truly stunning portraits. And, is that a zebra? Who knew you could get California wine and exotic animals all in one venue!
With an interior design background, if there’s one thing Jill knows through and through, its color. In her own words, “I looked at the design and setup of the wedding as if it were an art project of my own.” Every table, from the wine barrels-turned-cocktail-tables to the reception tables with a view was popped with fuschia, purple and orange blooms. Guests even received a floral burst of color atop their place setting. After sunset and a true barbecue meal (Yum!), guests hit the dance floor which was little with strands of twinkling lights.
The best part about destination weddings is the natural beauty the venue often has built in, so this added layer of vibrance and attention to detail made this wedding all the more to-die-for! Congratulations Jill and John!
