Did you tune in to iHeartRadio for the first episode of Bridal Bar Radio on iHeartRadio? This week we covered all things fabulous in the world of destination weddings. If you tuned in and you’re looking to connect with any of the experts we chatted with or find any of the products, take a look at the resources here! And don’t forget, if you missed it, you can listen on demand anytime on iHeartRadio (search: Bridal Bar) or click here. Thanks for listening!
This week we chatted with editor-in-chief of Destination I Do Magazine, Jennifer Stein and destination wedding planner, Aimee Monihan from Tropical Occasions in Costa Rica + Colorado. They gave us some great advice for navigating the destination planning process!
What’s new in destination weddings? We mentioned a few new faves to know about:
Michelle Rago, destination wedding planner to the stars, launched her new site!
The Viceroy Anguilla offers up some special romance packages with a second honeymoon return for those who wed there.
Entouriste, a fab new travel website by the editors at Elizabeth Anne Designs has gone live!
The Glenmere Mansion by Orchid Resorts is giving away goodies (mention Orchid Resorts when booking and they’ll hook you up with a special arrival gift, upgrades when available, discounts on all spa treatments, and a sendoff gift, as if you’re a guest at your own wedding).
And our cocktail of the week is the Guaro Sour from Costa Rica (thanks Aimee for introducing us to this delish drink). Here’s the recipe:
2 oz of Guaro
2 oz of Simple Syrup
1 lime cut into wedges
Splash of club soda
Mix sugar, lime wedges, and Guaro into a glass and muddle. Poor in ice and club soda and serve! Simple!
Thanks for tuning in and have a great weekend friends! See ya next week!
