Over the next three days we’re going to be sharing with you some of our favorite Italy destination wedding inspiration from our visit late last year to Venice for the incredible Engage!17: Italy event that took place. The summit is actually designed for wedding professionals not couples but it’s full of fab ideas for you! It’s three days of inspiration, education, and pretty unforgettable parties to give our industry insight into what is available in the world of weddings for you – brides and grooms! We engage, we learn, we dance, and we get to dream up new parties as magical as this. So if you’re considering a wedding in Venice, or a formal destination “I do” anywhere in the world really, take a look at this red-inspired fete befitting of Italian royalty.
Guests were greeted in the lobby of Palazzo Pisani Moretta with a performance where violin-wielding brides dazzled us with song and then sent us on our way up the stairs to the main event. What a way to start a party!
Once upstairs in the ‘main event,’ we found art installations made of dramatic red florals and feathers and artists posing and moving about the room as part of the decor. The entertainment for this event, and all the parties at Engage!17: Italy was produced by the super talented Gabriele Rizzi & Nu Art Events and they blew me away! I’ve seen a lot of creative and talented wedding bands and musicians in my 15 years in the industry, but none more spectacular this these. Wow! A must if you’re getting married in Europe.
The party was completely fanciful, with women dressed as lamps delivering dessert and a gondolier station as part of the decor. Stunning!
