Happy New Year to all our newly engaged friends and our longtime loyal readers too! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season filled with lots of love, family and travel! To kick off the new year, we’re looking ahead by actually looking back at a few of our favorite events from this past year. So without further ado, Georgiana and Stefan eloped in Austria, three years after their first wedding! She is from Romania he is from Austria. They met in Bucharest and originally wed in Romania before deciding to do it all over again years later, just the way they wanted to. The location they selected may look familiar, Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg, a spot used in the film The Sound of Music!
Georgiana shared a little bit of the behind the scenes from their second big day with us:
It was definitely strange after almost 3 years to put my wedding dress back on to see each other like this again but it felt absolutely wonderful – magical really. Since it was just the 2 of us it was more intimate than with an entire wedding party. We had plenty of time just for us and with Claudia our photographer. We were able to do all the things we didn’t have time at our first wedding. It was a real luxury. A full day just for the two of us.
I really trusted Stephanie my wedding planner to come up with a perfect colour theme. I love opulent décor mixed with a contemporary feel so the grey was a nice and balancing touch.
The Rolls Royce was a real treat. The driver took us around the lake and we really felt like superstars.
