Sasha and Daniel celebrated their nuptials with a destination wedding in Florence, one of the world’s most beautiful cities. And what could be better for two lovers of food, wine and travel? The venue for their regal reception was the Villa Cora, once an opulent private home and now an exclusive luxury hotel. From the extraordinary views of the city and Boboli Gardens to the elegant splendor of the baroque Mirror Room, where guests enjoyed a five star meal, it was a Renaissance feast for the senses!
The bride and groom are foodies with a love for travel and fine wine, so they decided on a destination wedding in Italy. Florence is their favorite city, so it was an ideal choice! The ceremony was held on the terrace at Villa Cora, overlooking the city.
The overall look was very elegant and classic. The bride was stunning in a long sleeve lace wedding gown and crystal tiara, with half up hair and sparkly Christian Louboutin shoes to complete the picture. She carried a white, peach, and purple toned bouquet with hints of greenery that perfectly complemented the groom’s boutonniere and the arrangements of roses, anemones, purple lilacs and trailing greenery that decorated both ceremony and reception.
At the end of a festive evening, the couple sat back-to-back to play a fun and memorable game, in which they answered questions by holding each other’s shoes up to represent bride or groom, much to the guests’ delight. The room was filled with joy, laughter, and love as the assembled company shared in this lighthearted but emotional moment.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
