Earlier this month I attended the Engage!13: Biltmore Estate wedding industry summit. It’s my 11th time and each and every event gets better and better. This year was no exception! Held at the historic, spectacular, incredible, awe-inspiring and vast property that is the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina, the theme of this session included a bit of Gatsby wedding decor, southern charm, historic richness, and of course the Engage brand too. What does all of this have to do with you? Well, for one – the swag!! Engage commissions several talented artists and teams, like the gift gurus behind this product, Gifts for the Good Life, to come up with and create gifts for guests that would dazzle any destination wedding party. With a green and white palette in mind, take a look at some of the amazing ideas that would translate perfectly for your domestic destination wedding.
Thinking of hosting a post wedding brunch or casual welcome reception? Why not send in custom branded picnic baskets via horse and carriage?! A creative and simple way to kick off the festivities!
Then, when guests arrive in their rooms, they could be greeted with goodies like we were here. Keeping the old south in mind, we were given a kit to create an old fashioned cocktail, complete with shot glass and the over 21 ingredients enclosed in what looked like a book!
Then don’t forget about your guests’ comfort with socks, hangover remedies, nuts and snacks, and other essentials perfectly branded to match your big day!
If you’re hosting any excursions (think horseback riding, rafting, and at the Biltmore Estate you can even partake in archery!) – consider giving loved ones a little additional swag to help them in the outing. I got to go rafting on the property and received a backpack filled with a water canteen and snack pack!
Budget permitting, why not gift the guys and gals something different? A bow tie kit for him and a hair and shoe accessory kit for her!
Every time I go to Engage I’m blown away by the creativity of this team!! These amazing products were created by the gals at Gifts for the Good Life with the help of Trisha Hay Design on graphics for the entire event. Congrats ladies!! This will go down in the history books (even those filled with secret cocktail swag)!
