Recently we had a slice of this fabulous cake from Fantasy Frostings. Not only was it delicious, it got me thinking about what other festive design options there are for couples who are hosting a destination wedding in Mexico and want a Mexican inspired wedding cake.
So here are even more fun and creative designs your baker can recreate for you for your big day! There’s a fine line between having a Mexican wedding cake and just having a colorful cake so make sure you do a bit of research on cultural patterns, designs, colors, and flowers. When designing a Mexican wedding cake there are four rules:
1. Make it colorful.
2. Make it personal! Show off your personality.
3. Decorate with fresh flowers or wedding calaveras.
4. And of course it has to be absolutely yummy!
