Four Seasons Bora Bora

To set sail today we thought we’d venture far, far away from home. When lining up the editorial calendar (it was a little like picking my fantasy itinerary around the world) – the decision for the first post came easy. We’ve all seen inspiration boards of fabulous wedding details, from the perfect wedding dress to the color palette that’s just right for your season and reception space. So I went back to the boards for inspiration and viola!  Sitting on my desktop, on my own inspiration board, not bridal inspired, but nonetheless – I landed on a photo of a property that takes my breath away every time I turn on my screen. And, as fate would have it, it just so happens to be a honeymooners’ haven. It’s time to jet set with Jet Fete to the Four Seasons Bora Bora… Need I say more? Well, I will anyway.over water suites bora bora

Bora Bora (n): A French Polynesian island in the South Pacific encased by an abundant barrier reef.

Translation? Pure blue over-water bridal bliss about eight hours by plane from Los Angeles.

Bora Bora is known for its exquisite lagoons so take advantage and opt for one of the 100 over-water bungalows. Believe us, over-water suites are worth the splurge!honeymoons in bora bora

Complete with an authentic Polynesian wedding chapel, Four Seasons Bora Bora can be home to your intimate wedding day as well as your honeymoon. We recommend travel for two – a setting this secluded is better experienced without the in-laws in tow! For an elopement that is anything but Elvis-inspired or for a place away to unwind after a big, all night affair on the mainland, the Four Seasons Bora Bora sits atop a blue lagoon, better than any feature film could capture. And with a Catamaran that will take you on an island discovery tour or elegant dinner cruise and a holistic spa with services you’ll only find in French Polynesia, you’ll feel like the star of your own movie.
