With a strong familial and cultural background, Adriana wanted nothing other than to celebrate her wedding day with her entire extended family. Lucky for her, her groom Nathan and all the intended guests, this meant a venture to the beautiful beaches of Nicaragua where most of Adriana’s family resides. The chosen spot in paradise for their destination wedding, specifically, was San Juan del Sur, a colorful and eclectic beach town on the southern coast, where you can find sparkling waters in one direction and lush mountains just opposite.
Guests stayed at the Villas de Palermo, also the reception site, where they found themselves with their very own terra cotta villa on one of the town’s mountainsides.
Adriana and Nathan got ready for their big day in their own respective villas (We love her hot pink shoes!), before having their “first look” on the cobblestone streets that connect them. The couple said “I do” on San Juan del Sur’s beach, a secluded cove between mountains. They brought a hint of the surrounding greenery to the sand, along with pops of fuchsia orchids to represent the vibrance of the country. The newlyweds and their guests headed back to Villas de Palermo’s club and pool for their reception. Pretty pink linens, luxurious white florals and a cake that tied it all together seamlessly. But the real fun started after dinner. It’s no secret that Adriana and Nathan’s guests know how to have a good time at a wedding! With the band at the helm, guests partied all night, breaking out masks and other party props around midnight and celebrating long after. The dancing took a brief intermission for an unbelievable surprise fireworks show, coordinated by Adriana’s mom. As you can see this wedding was bursting, literally, with vibrance and excitement, culture and color… the perfect elements for a destination affair if you ask us!
Congratulations Adriana & Nathan!
