Emily and Jeff hosted a party of a different kind over a recent weekend in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The pair were turning 30 together so instead of a destination wedding, they opted for a destination birthday extravaganza! For three days the couple welcomed friends and family to events that would rival any spectacular wedding! (Check back tomorrow for part two.)
Guests stayed at the stunning Esperanza Resort and partook in not only three nights of receptions and celebrations but organized golf, zip-lining, fishing and a full spa menu by day – all planned by the talented team of Signature Event Consulting and Design.
The first evening’s event was a beautiful beach party. Brightly colored tabletop against dark wooden tables and crisp white sand. So pretty!
We asked the lovely ladies at Signature about this first night of festivities. “The Welcome Beach Party at Esperanza beach kicked off the weekend! The atmosphere was a casual barefoot barbecue with beachy chic decor elements, cozy lounge areas and a bonfire.”
The décor, oh the décor – perfect for any seaside affair! We’re head over heels for the moss embellished lanterns!
In addition to the dinner tables were white sofas, ottomans and lounge furniture to welcome guests into their outdoor living room.
“Guitar player Adan Mijares set the mood. And Chef Gonzalo created a special menu to inspire the taste buds of food lovers Emily and Jeff and all of their guests. Fresh grilled seafood was complemented by a tequila tasting!”
The desserts look to die for!
Happy Birthday Emily and Jeff! And Jet Fetters, stay tuned for part two and three coming later this week with more beautiful ideas for your beach wedding.
