Lorraine and Andres headed to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for their romantic destination wedding overlooking the ocean. This family affair was just as the bride had envisioned it since a very young age! Lorraine shared with us all about their beautiful big day.
“I had dreamt about my wedding day since I was a little girl. I had always envisioned it to be a romantic and magical night. When we were venue hunting in Cabo I had planned a long weekend with 9 different venue visits! A lot- I know! We were looking for a beautiful location with a beach view. Casa Dorada Resort & Spa was the very first venue we visited. We fell in love with the breathtaking view from 12 tribes deck as soon as we saw it. We continued the weekend visiting the rest of the venues on the list, and of course we ended up right back where we started- Casa Dorada. It was a beautiful location that could accommodate our friends and family close to town. The onsite coordinator, Jazmin Cesena was a delight to meet and work with through the whole process. We wanted our wedding weekend to be a fun and easy trip for our nearest and dearest, and she definitely helped us accomplish that. We imported the majority of our decor, and Jazmin helped so much with getting it all to the hotel and setup exactly how I envisioned it.”
This pair certainly were fabulously fashionable when they wed! We love each of their looks so much!
“I remember standing with my dad, waiting to walk down the aisle. I still hear “First Day of My Life,” by Elizabeth Davis and feel the same butterflies I felt as I was anxiously waiting to walk down the aisle to marry my best friend. My hands were shaking so much, I couldn’t keep them still. When Canon in D started playing and we started walking down the aisle it was such a surreal feeling! Seeing a vision I had imagined and designed for a lifetime finally being put together right in front of me, and seeing Andres standing at the alter with all of my family and friends surrounding us was like a dream that finally came true!”
“We were so blessed to have met such great people in the process of planning our big day! Our photographer, Sara Richardson and her husband Ramon were great and SO easy to work with! I was running late all week, and had to change around a lot of designated times we had for different shoots, and Sara was so understanding and helpful throughout the whole process. Despite the craziness going on in my suite right before the ceremony (because I was running late), Sara was still able to capture really beautiful photos. I am so grateful that I found such a talented photographer who could capture so many beautiful moments!”
Pretty blush flowers were simple and sweet surrounded by the sparkling mercury glass candles that lit up this special night.
And what destination wedding would be complete without favors like these!
“Our sparkling first dance, dancing the night away with my beautiful friends and family, having an amazing time and seeing everyone we love have an amazing time as well, late night churros before the night was over, and just the entire night in general was a magical dream come true!”
