Beachside weddings are my favorite, but in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico? … Awe-inspiring. The humbling couple, Jenna and Kris held their destination wedding at the Cabo Azul Resort in hopes of hosting a celebration of their love in a way that would give off positive, laid back and relaxed energy, while upholding the sense of grace and sophistication. Promisingly, the venue and décor did just that with a soothing backdrop of the beach, affective hanging crucifix, and the mirroring reflections of the pool beneath. The mood at this Cabo wedding was set for a tender and promising “I do”. Can you imagine? Breathtaking! Just as Jenna’s modish dress, so clean and crisp, but still fun and free. The dress is a stunning design by Romona Keveza!
All of the color shades infused in this wedding blend so pleasingly with colors from pinks, to creams, and to the grayish-purple; how appealing and picturesque the scenery has become from such a blend! The bridesmaids embodied the grayish-purple color in their more-than-a-one-time-wear dresses designed by Vineyard Collection.
Following the ceremony, an exuberant fiesta was highlighted with a Mariachi band, personal bottles of Tequila, and on-site cigar rollers. It was all that a Mexican celebration should transpire!
Glamour and sophistication was reflecting with the oceanfront as the tabletops presented an embellishment of rock-like crystals, delicately placed. As an additional touch to personalize the tables, the bride’s childhood neighbor’s waited until the last moment to surprise her with a Kitty Cucumber “Just Married” porcelain keepsake at the head table, in honor of her collection as a youngster. I love the small additions that make for a world of difference!
The delectable tower of heavenly, sweet pink cupcakes to treat the guests was a fun and cute alternative to the traditional wedding cake. Following the meal and cupcakes the reception was enhanced by an unexpected and unintended firework show above the ocean as the glamorous day evolved into a naturally magical evening.
