Happy Monday friends and fellow travelers! Today we’ve got an absolutely incredible wedding party to share with you. We’ve saved the best for last from our week at Engage!17: Nizuc, the wedding professionals summit where we see what the best and the brightest talents from around the world can do for weddings. And this gala was no different. We were truly mesmerized with the magic that the Cancun wedding community and others put together for us to see and experience. The formal reception was star-inspired, a celestial theme (even guests were asked to come in star style). The location was the incredible Nizuc Resort & Spa main ballroom which has huge high ceilings and plenty of space for this party of 400. The ballroom was completely transformed by a creative team lead by Canteiro Weddings and Elan Artists, who covered the walls with projection mapping, turning the background into a moving galaxy. The night was nothing short of awe-inspiring!
The fuchsia and purple flower palette was designed and created by one of the brightest stars (no pun intended) in Mexico, Canteiro Weddings. Their team created everything for the night, from the centerpieces to the chairs, all custom designed and produced for the party.
Each and every table was as unique as the next. Nuage Designs created sequin linens to make the room sparkle from floor to ceiling and Two Paperdolls created custom menus with constellations on them. The theme of this party was designed right down to the paper goods!
These tall centerpieces draped along the long tables were my favorite. You could still see guests across the room but you couldn’t help but look up at the beauty surrounding you at the same time. Some tables were round with low centerpieces to break up the big room and different tables had different style chairs, all created and designed by the talented Canteiro Weddings. All the details made guests want to walk around just to see each and every nuance that Canteiro Weddings had created for us. If you’re looking for a production, floral, or rental team in Mexico, they are among the best – without question!
Engage Summits often finds creative ways to weave in the letter “e” for their event name, not unlike a wedding monogram. But I’ve never seen a motif or monogram hung from the stars before! This decor included the “e” not only in the night sky around the room but on the dance floor in the form of a constellation too. What a fantastic idea!
Even the escort cards included the “e” constellation, hinting to guests what was to come when the ballroom doors opened.
The entertainment by Elan Artists wasn’t just great music and live bands, but aerial artists and acrobats too! Before dinner, guests were wowed with a show above the dance floor to kick off the reception.
At the end of the evening, we weren’t just served dessert, but an entire dessert room opened up and ushered us into a sweets heaven by Nizuc. Talk about a great way to end an enchanting evening!
