Lavender and Pale Pink Weddings

Today I was inspired by this beautiful photo of old luggage I stumbled upon on Pinterest recently (my latest obsession).  Not following us there?  We’ve got even more destination wedding inspiration over on our boards, click to follow and we’ll keep you updated with great wedding day finds!  Anyway, back to our post – pale pink and lavender wedding finds fit for your destination wedding!

Flowing fabrics make great additions to a reception (keep in mind the wind factor however if you’re getting married on the beach or other outdoor space).  Billowing fabric in the wind makes the palette all the more beautiful, just be sure to anchor it down to a degree so you don’t get wrapped up in it!

We love the look of this watercolor invitation – a unique way to weave in the entire spectrum of the color palette without overpowering the sentiment of the day or the text on the page.

Variations of the shades work great too; consider pairing a pale pink with some more rose tone colors too!

And don’t forget the lavender!  A sophisticated lavender bridesmaid dress that can actually be worn again!  And if you’re saying “I do” in the countryside then consider tossing dried lavender instead of petals.

If you’re getting married on the shore, then perhaps a more coral pink bridesmaid dress will fit your theme.  Add a little pop of gold with those neutral tones and you’ve made a fashion forward statement your gals will love.  Then round out the night with a dessert bar blending all your hues together.
