Berna and Haldun hosted their destination “I do” in Fira – atop a beautiful peak in Santorini, Greece. The couple and close family and friends traveled from Turkey. Berna grew up in Izmir and Haldun in Istanbul, two cities with strong historical ties to Greece and both have a strong love for the country, so it was only fitting they selected this spectacular site for their big day.
The couple got ready at the famed Tsitouras Collection Hotel. Known for it’s precious artifacts, it boast 4000 Santorinian historic gems, including an original Picasso. Take about a beautiful backdrop!
For the ceremony and reception, the hosts and their guests and moved to the Dana Villas where a brief spiritual ceremony was conducted before the party began.
The bride and groom opted for a color palette that complimented the ocean view. Marine blues and white worked perfectly without taking away from the stunning setting.
The decor blended with Cycladic architecture while the gifts and details fit the sea inspired theme in spectacular fashion.
Their first dance was right at sunset – the magic moment.
Then lots of modern lighting transformed this picturesque space into a swanky late night party, complete with wedding cake of course!
