Shannon and Morgan said I do to a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico at the beautiful Capella Pedregal. The couple opted for a festive and colorful day filled with good friends, laughs and lots of fuchsia, yellow and orange details befitting of the setting!

The couple shared some insight into who they are and how this wedding came to be. About the bride: “Shannon loves animals, traveling and adventure, so it is no surprise that Morgan is her perfect fit. She grew up in Central NJ and now calls NYC her home.
She met Morgan while working at a financial services company and they’ve enjoyed a whirlwind romance ever since. One of her earliest memories of Morgan is from a work holiday party. He offered her a champagne flute, and to her surprise it was filled with Patron tequila. Little did they know that 5 years later they would marry in Mexico. Maybe it was spiked with a bit of Mexican Love Potion #9? Is it a coincidence they have a Chihuahua? I think not.”

About the groom: “Morgan has spent nearly half his life in the United States, the other half in Australia, with a short stint in Mexico in between. Their romance sparked at work, and during the last couple of years they’ve shared several great trips across the globe, one of which was to Cabo San Lucas. They fell in love with the town and knew it was the ideal spot for an incredible destination wedding.”
And how they settled on Cabo as their perfect place to wed? “We got engaged in St. Lucia in July 2011 and started the wedding planning shortly after. We picked Cabo San Lucas because we loved going on vacation there and the weather was nearly perfect. After finding Capella Pedregal, we knew this was going to be a fairytale wedding. We spent a week with 30 of our closest friends and family and had the time of our lives.”
Custom luggage tags in coordinating colors made for an ideal destination wedding favor at this outdoor fete.
Even at the end of the night, these two thought of everything! Thank you signs and do not disturb door hangers were just the right touch!
