Catherine and Hunter chose Jackson Hole, Wyoming for their rustic ranch-like destination wedding at the Teton Pines Country Club. Catherine told us a bit about their lives and planning the big day. “Hunter and I originally met 10 years ago in college, and it took a decade of an on-and-off romance before we tied the knot. We originally fell in love during the summer of 2001 on a fly fishing trip to Montana, so it seems only right to go back to the same setting 10 years later. We spent the past few summers visiting Jackson and fishing the rivers in and around Wyoming – so it was a no brainer on the destination choice – Jackson Hole!”
Cowboy boot-clad bridesmaids were just the touch for this location!
“Destination weddings are so fun for a million reasons, but besides everyone getting a “trip” out of your special day, you also get to tie in the destination as part of your weekend’s “theme.” We wanted our big day to capture not only our personality together as a couple, but also the attitude and essence of Jackson Hole. For us, that meant laid back & outdoorsy, with a cowboy flair.”
“We went with a simple “rustic elegance” theme – beautiful but simple, with rustic accents. We wanted everyone to feel relaxed and comfortable, and have a GREAT time! And we made sure ALL the guests wore cowboy boots!”
The reception had several nods to the locale, even the motif on the paper goods matched!
While fish flags embellished the cocktail straws and a rustic wedding cake by Jackson Cake Co added a sweet touch!
Books about Wyoming and sparklers helped seal the deal at the end of the night before this newlywed couple headed off in a getaway car.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
